For my first foray into making a Sinatra app from scratch, I decided to work with an MVC concept I interact with daily: dermatology treatment. I’ve worked as a surgery coordinator for a skin cancer surgeon for almost 3 years and have seen the value of being able to easily track patients and their outstanding treatment.
Moving from test-driven labs to a freeform project is like taking the training wheels off a bike: a bit nerve-racking, but exhilirating once you’ve got the hang of it.
As far back as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed both creative endeavors and working with technology.
